Birthday Wishes

Hi everybody!  Today I would like to share a card with you that I made during my term on the Splitcoast Dirty Dozen.  It is now past 6 months so I am now able to show it here on the blog.  I chose this card today because it features one of my favorite sentiment sets from Sweet N Sassy stamps Script Birthdays which also happens to be this week's Friday Feature as well.  You will definitely want to grab it before it sells out at the fantastic price of only $11.25.

This was a pretty simple card to put together.  The only stamping is the sentiment and the rest is just some great dp from Echo Park Little Boys collection.  Some stitching and twine to accent and all set.

Don't forget to play along with our challenge this week on the Sweet N Sassy stamps blog which is to use the word "birthday" on your card- easy peasy right?  You have until Thursday 1/30 to play along and have a chance to win a $10 gift certificate to the Sweet N Sassy Stamps store.  Happy creating!

  • Clear stamp set includes 10 sentiments
  • Set measures approximately 4" x 6"
  • Largest sentiment measures approximately 2" x 2"

Here is the card I would like to share with you today:

To create my card, I embossed with the bg with the lattice cuttlebug folder and stitched it onto my marvelous square spellbinders layer.  I made a frame by stamping the "corner" stamp four times from the leafy flourishes background set which was featured yesterday.  I then sponged blushing bride ink in my square die and followed by stamping the sentiment and adhering it on top of my frame with foam tape.  The card is 4.25 inches square.

Happy New Year!

Hello everyone, Happy New Year!  Today I would like to share a couple cards with you using the adorable Snowman Soup stamp set from Sweet N Sassy stamps.

For my first card I colored the image with copics and added some sparkle with stickles and a rhinestone.  I created the bottom layers of the card with the SNSS scallop border die and used the SNSS mini tag die set for the sentiment.

My second card I again colored the snowman mug with copics and added a rhinestone to the star.  For the whipped cream, I used liquid appliqué and heated it with my heat tool so it became puffy.  Once again I used the mini tag die for the sentiment.  The designer paper for both cards is from the My Minds Eye Winter Wonderland collection.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I wish you all a very happy healthy New Year!!!
