Believe

Today I would like to share a card with you that I created using Nature Silhouettes 2 from Sweet N Sassy stamps:

I created a sunrise scene using orange, yellow, and sky inks and then stamped my image from Nature Silhouettes 2 several times in versa fine gray.  I then used the Birds and Feather die set and placed a bird in the lower left corner to accent.  The sentiment is from the Inspirational Word Art set and used inked up only part of the sentiment before stamping it.  The papers are from the My Minds Eye Follow Your Heart collection.

Be sure to check out some of the new products that were just added to the Sweet N Sassy store!  There are some great new dies that coordinate with some of our stamp sets including my favorite set- Long Stem Silhouettes.

Thanks so much for stopping in, have a great day!

Wow, this was a tough card for me to make in a way.  This is for my oldest daughter Rachel's high school graduation which is just over a month away.  I can hardly believe it- really where did the time go?  These are her school colors and 14 of course is the graduation year.  I originally wanted to use 2014 but I could not find a layout I liked using both the numbers and the stars.  So, seriously after quite a few hours playing around with it, I finally decided to just use "14" because it fit better.  I die cut the numbers with our number dies (love them- perfect size and font) out of silver sparkle paper and then outlined the edges with a black copic marker so they would stand out a bit more.

Our challenge to you this week is to make a Congrats card.
The first 10 cards in the hop were created for your inspiration by the design team.  As you hop along, leave a little love behind, then create your own Congratulations card and use the linky tool to add it to the gallery!

Just a few guidelines to remember as you play:

Here is my sample I would like to share with you today:

I really enjoyed playing with this set and creating some fun background papers with it!  Since I had the set out I made some various different ones changing up the colors which you are likely to see on my blog in the future.  Besides, who doesn't love polka dots?  I also really love the sentiments included with the set and the size is one that I frequently use.  I also used the number dies which I absolutely love and reach for quite often.  They are the perfect font and size once again! Anyway, I made this card for a friend of my daughter and chose the color combo of pink pirouette and costal cabana from Stampin Up!

Our challenge to you this week is to use Polka Dots on your card.
The first 11 cards in the hop were created for your inspiration by the design team.  As you hop along, leave a little love behind, then create your own POLKA DOT card and use the linky tool to add it to the gallery!

Just a few guidelines to remember as you play:

Collage Creations

Hi everyone! Today I would like to share a couple of cards with you that I made using the Vintage Postcard and Nature Silhouettes 2 stamp sets from Sweet N Sassy stamps. I tried something a little bit different for me in that I created a collage look on them both. I had fun making them and hope you like the end results.

I used versa fine gray ink and paper from the My Minds Eye Follow Your Heart collection.  I used some stickles on the tips of the flowers of the first card and also used the Birds and Feather die on the second card.  Our Friday challenge this week at Sweet N Sassy Stamps is to use a bird on your project so this ties right in with our challenge theme.  You have until Thursday at Midnight to play along and have a chance to win a sweet prize!

Collages are fun to create so I encourage you to give it a try as well.  Don't be afraid to mix and match your stamp sets.  Just about anything will work from sentiments and background sets to silhouettes.

Have fun and happy creating!

Friday Feature- Love Birds

Hello everyone and welcome once again to Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps
April Release Friday Feature!
The Design Divas have some fabulous samples for you to see today as we feature one of our new stamp sets and matching dies available at the
Sweet 'n Sassy Store

Today's features are:
Love Birds and Love Birds Die Set

  • Stamp set measures approximately 6" x 4"
  • The branch measures approximately 4 1/4" x 2"
  • The love birds measure approximately 2" x 1 1/4"
  • Designed by Korin Sutherland
  • Stamp set priced at $15
  • Die set priced at $14.50
  • Bundle Price is $26.50
Here is the card that I would like to share with you today:

I colored my image with copics (B21, 23, 24, Y13, 15, 19- birds, E21, 23, 25, 27, YG 03, 06, 09- branch) and used foam tape to pop them up.  The cloud uses our new Happy Happy set and coordinating die and is accented with stickles along with the birds.  On the oval I used the cloud die as a stencil to create a sky with clouds which is not showing too well in the photo since it is not too dark.  The dp are scraps that I found in my stash from Stampin Up and Echo Park.

Our challenge to you this week is to use a bird on your creation.
The first 12 cards in the hop were created for your inspiration by the design team.  As you hop along, leave a little love behind, then create your own BIRD card and use the linky tool to add it to the gallery!
