Happy Fall!

Hi there stamping friends!  Today I would like to share a fall card that I made with you using one of my favorite Autumn products from Sweet N Sassy Stamps- Leaf Silhouettes and Leaf Silhouette Dies!

I stamped the leaves in SU inks- really rust, garden green, saffron, and ruby red and then they were cut out and adhered down the side of my kraft card base.  I stamped the sentiment in crumb cake using the Seasonal Wreaths set onto a banner and curved it up in the center.  I finished it off by adding a button and a twine bow.

There is a fabulous sale going on now at Sweet N Sassy Stamps!  Be sure to check out the awesome savings available with the bundle blitz going on in honor of Sweet N Sassy Stamps 7th birthday.

Thanks for stopping by today- have a great day!

Christmas Blog Hop

Hello sweet friends!  Welcome to Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Special DT Christmas Blog Hop!  Today the  Design Divas are featuring our favorite SNSS Christmas stamp sets just in time to give you plenty of inspiration for your holiday stamping.  We hope you will join the fun and leave some love behind as you visit each blog.  I'm sure you have your own favorite Christmas stamp set, so we're inviting you to create your own Christmas greeting and add it to the gallery by clicking the Linky Tool below!  Of course there will be a PRIZE for those who decide to join us.  You have until Thursday, October 30th, 2014 at midnight EST to upload your creation.  We will randomly select one lucky participant to receive a $10 gift code to be used at the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store!  The winner will be posted on the Sweet 'n Sassy Blog on Friday, October 31st.

Today, I decided to create a CAS card using the very versatile Holiday Baubles set.

I chose 3 of the ornaments from the set.  I scored 3 lines to "hang" my ornaments from at different lengths.  I embossed the ornaments with silver detail embossing powder and added some rhinestones at the top of each.  I used silver mirror paper to matte the images.  I finished the card by embossing the sentiment and framing it with tiny rhinestones.  This would be a simple (yet elegant) card to reproduce.

Now it's your turn...

Stationery Gift Set

Hi everyone!  Today I would like to share a stationery gift set that I made for a friend of mine for her birthday.  She loves the color combo of blue and brown so that is how I chose the colors.  The set includes a legal pad holder and 4 cards.

The legal pad holder measures 5.25" X 8.5".  Inside I have included 2 pockets- one for the note pad and another for putting various items in.  For mine I will include the envelopes for the cards which I should have shown in the picture.

To create this project:
1. For the cover use a 8.5"X11" sheet of card stock and score at 5.25" and 5.75", fold along the score lines.

2. Decorate the front cover.  Here I created my own patterned paper using my stamps (which I will indicate the sets I used below).  The measurements are white paper- 5.25"x 5" and 5.25"x 2.5" and colored strip 5.25" x 3" tearing on both sides.

3. Create pockets.  Take one or two sheets of card stock measuring 4.75"x 6.5" (depending on how many pockets you want) and score at 1/2", 3/4", 5.75", and 6".  Then turn paper 90 degrees and score at 1/2" and 3/4".  This will create a 1/4" deep pocket.  Cut the 2 bottom corners (squares) out along the score lines.  Then fold along the score lines and secure with strong adhesive.  I used glue dots.

4.  Attach pockets to the inside using strong adhesive and decorate the inside how ever you like.  I just used various scraps I had left and attached to the pad and pockets and stamped a scripture verse.

Here are the coordinating cards:

To create the patterned paper I used the following stamp sets from Sweet N Sassy stamps:  Kindness, Thankful Blooms, Precious Poppies, and Majestic Monarchs (and coordinating dies).  I also used pearls, rhinestones, wink of stella, and glimmer mist to accent the stationery.  I used Stampin Up Early Espresso, Marina Mist, and Whisper White inks and paper.

I used the following sentiments/scriptures: Script Birthdays and God's Will.

I hope you like the project I have created today.  These would make some great gifts for the holidays as well.  Have a great day and happy crafting!

Thanks

Hi everyone!  I hope you are well and enjoying the beautiful fall season.  This is my favorite season of all!  Anyway, I would like to share a card with you using the lovely Flowers in Bloom set.

I colored the flowers with copics and used Wink of Stella to give some sparkle.  The image was die cut using the brand new coordinating Flowers in Bloom die.  I then popped up the image with foam tape to give it some dimension.  The papers are from My Minds Eye.

Thanks for stopping in today, have a wonderful day!
