Cocoa Loves Soccer

Hi Friends! Quick post today. I have been pretty sick and I still can't seem to shake it. I have not had the slightest desire to craft and my mojo is gone too. But, I need a card for a birthday party on Saturday so since I have had this image colored since December I decided to try and put together a card with it.

The image is a digi from Sweet N Sassy stamps called Cocoa loves Soccer. I thought it would be a good choice since the card is for a friend of ours who is a soccer coach. I colored it with copics and some ultrafine glitter was added to the white parts of the ball. The layout is the Sweet Stop Sketch for the week. I thought it would be easy but in my impaired state I just could not get the measurements right and I cut the white panels which were embossed with seeing spots cuttlebug folder 3 times.

Hopefully, I will be back to normal soon and have some projects to share with you. Thanks for hanging in there and be blessed today!

New Creature

I have a couple of pretty CAS cards to show you today. Both of them are pretty similar but I made a couple small changes to differ them a bit. I used the New Creature digi stamp set from Sweet N Sassy stamps and it is also available as a clear stamp set as well.

Celebrate

I just received this absolutely adorable Tilda stamp the other day and I just could not wait to ink her up. She is called Tilda with Balloon from the Magnolia You are So Special collection and they are now in stock at 7 Kids College Fund. All the stamps in this collection are super cute but this one is my favorite. Isn't she sweet?

I colored Tilda with copics and I inked the edges with Tattered Rose distress ink. Then I gave my card some sparkle by adding my favorite Stardust Stickles to just about everything- Tilda's bow and trim on the dress, edges of the papers, and the tips of the roses.

7 Kids Challenge #14- I {heart} you!

It my turn to host the on the 7 Kids Challenge blog. The theme that I chose is I {heart} you! So use hearts somewhere on your project. Check out my sample below:

P2017580

I colored Tilda with Hearts with copics, and accented her dress trim and wings with stardust stickles. I used a silver spica pen over gray copics for the ground. I also trimmed the heart sentiment with stickles. The white strips across the middle were embossed using the polka dots 5X7 cuttlebug folder. I love this new larger size!
