Thanks Sew Much!

I was able to play along with the sketch challenge and ways to use it challenge on SCS. This card took me 3 days to complete as I was only able to work on it for short periods of time but I am fairly pleased at how it came out. See what you think

In addition, this is my submission for this weeks Sweet N Sassy digi event on SNR Card Universe. The challenge this week is to use stripes on your project. If you play along by Monday the 1st you will be entered to win a $10 credit to the store.

mojo Monday 127

This week's mojo Monday sketch is brought to us by Sarah. Below is the sketch and my sample.

It's a pretty simple and straight forward card today. I used one of my new scripture stamps from Verve. I have not had much stamp time so unfortunately some of stamps have not seen any love lol. I stamped the verse with chocolate ink and sponged around it with spring moss ink while still in the die. I also stitched around the edges with my sewing machine.

Supplies:
stamps- Verve stamps Ps 121:1-2
CS- PTI spring moss, dark chocolate, and dp. Paper Temptress poison ivy iridescent
accessories- satin ribbon, brown pearls, sewing machine, square nestabilities

Go check out the mojolicious creations for you on the mojo Monday blog. Thanks for visiting today!

mojo Monday 126

Today I am showing you a card that I made for my friend Cassie's birthday next week using this week's mojo sketch. Below is the sketch and my sample.

This cute cocoa image from Sweet N Sassy stamps is called cupcake cocoa. I just love Cocoa!! There are so many to choose from so you just have to check them all out. Anyway, I printed 4 images and colored them with my copics. I added a lot of dimension to this card using the paper tole technique. The first layer that I cut out was Cocoa's head and the cupcake. Layer 2 was Cocoa's face and ears and the last layer was just his face. I adhered each of the layers with pop dots. I also used stickles on the hearts of the cupcake. The great dp is from Papertrey Ink and was a gift from my friend Sue, thanks!!

close ups for you

Supplies:
stamps- Sweet N Sassy stamps Cupcake Cocoa and Sweet Birthday wishes (sentiment)
CS- Paper Temptress Neenah white and basis red, PTI dp
accessories- corner rounder punch, rhinestones, pearls, primas, circle nesties, PTI stitched ribbon, copics, pop dots

Stop on by the mojo Monday blog for some awesome inspiration and deets on the sketch this week.

Mojo Monday 125- You give me Wings

Hello everyone! I hope that you have all had a good week. This was a rather busy week for me as it was my middle daughter's birthday and we had some celebrations going on for her which all went well thankfully. So, here is another mojo Monday coming at you. Below are the sketch and my sample for this week.

It was a tricky sketch this week but I am fairly pleased at how it came out. Truthfully the hardest part for me was picking the papers to use. I kept finding 2 dps that coordinated but the third was tricky. Anyway, I colored my heart image with copics and accented the wings with stickles and added rhinestones to the center of the flowers. I first tried shimmerz on the wings but I like how the stickles "matched" the paper better with the flecks of purple in it. The image is from the All My Heart set from Sweet N Sassy stamps as is the sentiment on the front and on the inside which I will show below.

I cut the image out and use pop dots for dimension. I also curled the wings up slightly which you can see below.

I used another heart and sentiment from the set to decorate the inside of the card

Supplies:
stamps- All My Heart digi set from Sweet N Sassy stamps
CS-Neenah classic white from Paper Temptress, K& Company dp
accessories- rhinestones, stickles, copics, circle nesties, labels nesties, paper piercer, pop dots, white taffeta ribbon

Still have some Valentines to make?? Like the images I used today? Well, there is still time, especially if you grab one of Sweet N Sassy stamps digi sets. That is one of the nice things about digital images- instant gratification. Besides you can save money and storage space too. If you did not already know, SNSS has gone ALL digital now. There are new images being added to the store daily so you will want to check in often to see the latest and greatest lol. The rest of the remaining clear stamp sets are on clearance but they are going fast of course!

Well, thank you so much for stopping in today. After you leave, I hope that you will take a minute to stop by the mojo Monday blog to check out the awesome cards that the mojo makers have made. It would also be great to have you play along with the sketch this week as well!

Have a blessed day!!
