Summer Die-Version

Welcome to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Summer Die-Version Blog Hop!  We are so thrilled to bring you 3 fabulous new die sets today, plus oodles of eye candy for your creative taste buds. :) 
Before we get to sharing the pretties, check out these wonderful new dies!

 Small Leaves Dies  $6.25

I have 2 cards to share with you today using dies from all 3 sets.  Here is my first card using the wave dies:

Beach Bum Cocoa was colored with copics and I added the sky behind him using the cloud dies as a stencil and sponging it in with Soft Sky ink.  I then added the clouds which I accented with stickles with foam tape.  Finally I cut out my waves and used the actual die cut with the negative portion that was left so I have 2 layers.  The bottom layered was adhered with foam tape for dimension and stickles was added to the tips of the waves.

My second card is a CAS card and uses both the shape dies and the small leaves dies.  Oh my goodness the number of possibilities with the shape dies- so fun!!!

I used the rounded corner die and cut 4 different blocks from Melon Mambo, Pumpkin pie, Turquoise, and Summer Sun.  I then popped up the leaves which were stamped with the Nature Silhouettes 2 stamp set which coordinates with the Small Leaves dies.  Add matting in both white and black and accent with rhinestones.

The Sea

Today I would like to share 2 similar cards that I made using the beautiful The Sea stamp set from Sweet N Sassy stamps.

For the first card, I sponged a sky by making a cloud stencil from SNSS cloud dies.  I then sponged a sun by punching out a circle from a post it note and using the negative.  The bottom of the card was scored and a decorative border was made by using a Martha Stewart border punch.  Rhinestones were used as accents.

For the second card, I also sponged the sky but did not use any dies and I used a different MS border punch.  I used a white gel pen to accent the birds and boat.

Today I am sharing a card that I made for my daughter's friend who is turning 8 and whose birthday party is this coming weekend.

I created some patterned paper for the bg using the #8 from the set.  I stamped the bg in pixie pink, coastal cabana, pink pirouette, and orchid opulence.  Kids love to see their age on a card so creating a number bg works great.  Now, if you made patterned paper with my age on it.....well not as great lol.  The sentiment is from the Birthday Bash set which coordinates so well with the numbers.

June Release Features Day 3- Flower Blocks 2

Here is my card that I would like to share with you today:

I colored the beautiful lotus image with copics (RV0000, RV000, RV00, RV52, RV55, YG03, YG06, BG0000, BG000, BG01).  I matted the image on pixie pink and shimmer white using marvelous squares spellbinders dies.

Sparkly Wildflowers

Hello and Happy Saturday!

Today, I want to share a card with you that I made using the Dazzling Diamonds technique

I started by coloring directly on my Wildflowers stamp with SU markers in Pretty in Pink and Celery (both of which have just retired-boo hop) and stamping the image onto white CS.  I then covered the entire oval with my Versamark pad and embossed it with Iridescent Ice ep.  I love how sparkly it is :).

accessories/tools- SU iridescent ice ep, SU markers, pearls, Spellbinder labels and oval dies, SU celery organdy ribbon, sewing machine, baja breeze ink sponged.

Oh Happy Day

Hey everyone!  I hope that you are having a wonderful day.  I am getting ready to head to Syracuse and spend the weekend with my BFF Korin Sutherland of Sweet N Sassy stamps as well as 2 of my fellow DT members- Diane Zechman and CathyMac who I will get to meet for the first time in person. I think we will have a great time.  If you are in the Syracuse area, be sure to stop by and see us at the Just Too Fun promotions stamp show being held at Onondaga College.

Today I am sharing a CAS card that I made for the Addicted to CAS challenge which is Circles.  I am pleased with how it came out and hope you like it too.

I used the Happy Place stamp set from Sweet N Sassy stamps which I colored with copics and added my circles (buttons) to the centers.  Pretty cute I think :).
