Sympathy color challenge

I have been so busy that I have not been able to play in many of the Splitcoast challenges like I used to. Tuesday I was able to jump into the color challenge and it was a combo that I would not have thought of so that is cool. I really like the soft and subtle look of mellow moss, kraft, and white. I thought they were very soothing and would make a good combo for a sympathy card.



I embossed the forget me nots with white onto kraft paper and sponged moss ink around them while still in the nestie die. I added a pearl to the center of each and used a white gel pen to draw a frame around them to make them stand out. My layout is from the sweet stop sketch blog this week. This is one of my favorite sets from Sweet N Sassy and was just released on October 1st. They look great colored (or not) and the set contains some wonderful sentiments so it is very universal too.
