I tried a new technique today for my card today that I have not done before.  It is pretty cool but I must admit that it is quite time consuming and for an already slow card maker like myself it does not mix lol.  I do like how it came out though.  Take a peek and see what you think:

    DSC00435 copy

I really can not take full credit for my card as I got the idea for this card after I saw one made by Karen Barber.  Anyway, to create the card, I stamped the poppy from the Precious Poppies randomly on kraft cs with versa mark and embossed with detail white ep.  The next step is to color in the flowers with an aqua painter and white craft ink.  It may take 2 coats depending on the look you want- mine did.  Then after that is dry I colored the flowers with SU markers and a blender pen.  I did find that using bold colors worked best for shading and truthfully I would have liked to have used some more dark on my card but after spending so much time on it already and with the cs becoming too saturated I left it as you see.

    Supplies:
    stamps- SNSS Precious Poppies
    cs- kraft and white sparkle
accessories- white silk ribbon, oval spellbinders dies, detail white ep, versa mark pad, and SU markers in pumpkin pie, pretty in pink, regal rose, bashful blue, brocade blue, saffron, and lavendar lace.
