Hi there! What do you know I finally have a mid-week post LOL? It is time to say farewell to some wonderfully talented ladies that have served for the last 6 months on the SNSS DT. We also say welcome to some terrific new ladies who will be serving for the next 6 months. So there are lots of inspiring projects for you to see on the blog hop. If you have not already been hopping then you will definitely want to go back to the Sweet N Sassy blog and start there so you don't miss anything. I also have the blog hop schedule on my sidebar.
I have 2 CAS cards to share with you today which is rather unusual for me. Once in awhile I like to change it up. I also changed my hair this week and had it highlighted so I guess I am quite the rebel LOL.
I used the newly released beautiful borders set for my cards. There are 5 stamps in the set and they make great focal points, borders, or custom dp. I simply inked up half the stamp and stamped my image. I then die cut it using my long rectangle nesties and drew a frame around them while still in the die with my marker. I accented the middle of the flowers with some rhinestones and simply tied a ribbon at the top and voila! Since I was making a CAS card I wanted to use some "special" paper so I chose white sparkle from Paper Temptress to add a little something without adding layers. Oh and the sparkle paper is on sale 25% off for the month of July too!!
Supplies:
stamps- Sweet N Sassy stamps Beautiful Borders and I'd Pick you for the sentiments
CS- Paper Temptress blanc sparkle, noir sparkle, tango tangerine, summer sun, brilliant blue
accessories- rhinestones, striped grosgrain, organdy ribbon, long rectangle nesties
I also want to mention the Christmas in July celebration that starts today. Korin has some new exclusive digi images just for the celebration and of course there is a SALE and who doesn't love a sale??? You can get all the info about it HERE.
Your next stop on the blog hop is one of our new DT members- Lisa and you are sure to love what she has to share with you.
Thanks for stopping by today!

CS- Paper Temptress cappuccino metallic, basic grey dp, and unknown dp
accessories- glittery primas, pearl brads, organdy ribbon, sewing machine, stickles, copics

mojo Monday Week 92
Happy mojo Monday! What a great way to start off the week with a fab-o sketch from Julee. Below are the sketch and my sample:
I pulled out one of my favorite Sweet N Sassy stamps sets- Dream Silhouettes. I stamped the image with versamark ink onto Paper Temptress blanc sparkle CS and then used my pastels to "color" the flowers. I sponged the edges with banana ink and then matted onto a scalloped rectangle die cut from Paper Temptress mountain rose glimmer CS. This CS is soooo pretty, I just love it! I sewed around all the edges and accented the 4 corners with pearls.
Supplies:
stamps- Sweet N Sassy stamps Dream Silhouettes
CS- Paper Temptress mountain rose glimmer, blanc sparkle, banana split, celery dp
accessories- pink pearls, rectangle and square nestabilities, stampin pastels, sewing machine, satin ribbon
This card is also for the Color Monday challenge that I host on Christian Papercrafts Magazine. You can view this week's challenge HERE. I would love to have you join in!
Be sure to stop by the mojo Monday blog to check out the fabulous samples from the rest of the mojo makers.

High Hopes Challenge 36- a scrappy challenge
Good morning all! It is father's day here in the US today, do you have any plans? After church we are going to take my hubby out to lunch and then this evening we are having my dad over for dinner.
This week's high hopes challenge is brought to us by Jeanne and it is to use up those scraps. This is a great challenge because as a dp/paper junkie myself I have quite a lot of scraps!
I colored my image with copics and also used coal shimmerz on the black spots and a clear spica glitter pen on the white trim. I used 2 black pearls in the center of the buggy wheels and used tiny rhinestones on the bugs' antennae (not antlers Sue). I chose 2 dp scraps and sewed around all the layers with my sewing machine. Even the ribbon was a small scrap left from a spool I had. The white layer is actually white columns CS from Paper Temptress but it is a bummer that I could not get the texture to show well in the photo and I really tried too.
Supplies:
stamps- high hopes baby buggie
CS- Paper Temptress white columns, noir sparkle, lemon drop, SU dp
accessories- rhinestones, black pearls, stitched grosgrain, copics (C3, C5, C7, C9, R37, R46, R39, E000, E00, R20, Y21, YR23)
I hope you will be able to play along with the challenge this week- after all we all have some sort of scraps don't we? You can check out the challenge prize up for grabs and see some great work from the divas on the high hopes blog.
This card is also for the fun on Friday challenge on Christian Papercrafts Magazine which was to make a baby card with non- traditional baby colors.
Have a blessed day and thanks for coming by!

Hello there! Korin has a great sketch for us to work with on the sweet stop blog. This is a contest week too thus the spin. A random participant of this week's challenge will be chosen to receive the newest digi set that was released on Thursday. Below is the sketch and my sample:

I love this set and I think it might be my favorite of the new releases from Sweet N Sassy stamps this month. However, I can not say that I am completely happy with my card this time. I just could not seem to get it to come together the way I wanted. Oh well.
Supplies:
stamps- Sweet N Sassy stamps Light of the World
CS- SU confetti white, kraft, red, GP white
accessories- cb distressed stripes folder, red brads, stitched ribbon, copics, corner rounder punch
Gotta run and get ready to go to a wedding, have a great day!

Mojo Monday Week 91
It's another mojo Monday coming at you with a cool new sketch from Julee. Today's sketch is for a tall skinny card which I do not typically make so I am broadening my horizons LOL! Take a look at the sketch and my sample below.
I stamped my flower image twice for a shadow effect- first with bordering blue and next with chocolate. I then sponged around it with pink while in the nestabilities using it as a stencil. I also stamped, colored and cut out one flower and layered it on top of my prima flower. The images are from my current favorite Verve stamps set- Because of You. I just love it!
closer view
Can you see the beautiful subtle sparkle from the blanc sparkle cardstock and bronze metallic from Paper Temptress? Also, the pink lemonade pop tones cardstock is an awesome match for SU pink pirouette and it is not retiring!
Supplies:
stamps- Verve stamps Because of you and Artful Elegance (sent)
CS- Paper Temptress bronze metallic, blanc sparkle, pink lemonade pop tones, SU dp
accessories- brown pearls, oval punches, rectangle nestabilities, taffeta ribbon, prima
We would love to have you play along with the mojo sketch this week. You can see the details and more awesome inspiration from the DT on the mojo Monday blog.
I would also like to remind you about the Sweet N Sassy stamps release party at 8PM EST in the SNSS forum- hope to see you there!
Hugs and Blessings!

Sweet N Sassy June Round Up and Release
Tonight Sweet N Sassy stamps is releasing 5 new stamp sets after the release party which is going to be held in the SNSS forum 8-10PM. So, I have a sneak peek for you of 2 of the new sets- In His Time and Borders. Take a peek:
I used the In His Time set and stamped the butterfly image with banana ink and then stamped the scripture over it. I die cut it with my labels 4 die and sponged baja ink around the images while still in the die. I pierced/embossed my butterfly strip using my Pierceabilities die.
The inside of the card
I created a butterfly bg by stamping the butterfly border stamp several times from the new borders set. I then double stamped my sentiment with baja ink first then moving the stamp over slightly and stamping with pomegranite ink. All the borders were sewn.
Supplies:
stamps- Sweet N Sassy stamps In His Time and Borders
CS- white, regal rose, urban prairie dp
accessories- primas, labels 4 nesties, pierceabilities, satin ribbon, sewing machine, pearls, MS butterfly punch
If you would like to see some more terrific sneak peeks from the DT then please visit the Sweet N Sassy stamps blog.

High Hopes Challenge 35- Circles and more circles
Happy Lord's day Sunday! I am your hostess for this week's high hopes challenge. My challenge should you choose to accept it is to use circles on your card/project. A random winner from this week's challenge participants will be chosen to receive the 2 stamps that I featured on my card- Summer's sweetness and thanks a melon.
My image was colored with copics and die cut with my circle nesties. I used stickles on the trim of the dress which is not showing well this time for me. I used this week's Friday sketchers sketch for my layout but changed the oval to a circle. I used a tiny hole punch in the center of each of the scallops.
closer view
Supplies:
stamps- high hopes summer's sweetness and thanks a melon
CS- jersey shore dp, wasabi, regal rose, white
accessories- circle nesties, buttons, PTI hibiscus satin ribbon, CM circle punch, stickles, hole punch, copics (RV10, RV11, RV14, RV14, G21, G24, B000, E000, E00, R20, E33, E37)
You will want to stop by the high hopes blog to see the rest of the gorgeous divas' samples. To participate in the challenge you will want to leave a comment under the challenge post with the link to your creation.

Sweet Stop sketch Saturday
Hello my friends! It has been quite a while since I have posted in fact this is the longest stretch since I started blogging without a post. It was an especially busy couple of weeks with my daughters' activities. There were dance recitals, kindergarten graduation, and exams. I am still trying to get caught up!
Anyway, I am back and starting things out with this week's sweet stop sketch. The sketch and my sample are below:
I decided to turn the sketch horizontally and I chose the Parisian breeze dp again. I colored my adorable Olivia owl with copics and added stickles to the hat. I stamped the diploma stamp and then stamped "congrats" over it. This card is for a girl at my church who just graduated.
Here is the inside of the card
I stamped a border for the inside and for my envelope (not shown) by alternating the graduation cap and the diploma which are from the Owl Celebrations set from Sweet N Sassy stamps. On the top part I stamped the graduation cap and then stamped my verse from the Encouragement set over the top of it.
Supplies:
stamps- Sweet N Sassy stamps Owl Occasions, Owl Celebrations, and Encouragement scripture
CS- white, baja breeze, choc chip, Parisian breeze dp
accessories/tools- circle nesties, oval punches, paper piercer, word window punch, white brads, felt ribbon, button, linen thread, sewing machine, copics (E25, E27, E29, E31, E33, YR04)
Also going with the graduation theme I thought I would show you a picture of my middle daughter Lindsey who was our cute little kindergarten graduate. Mom was pretty good and didn't cry too much LOL.
Have a wonderful day and thanks for visiting!
