Hi there! Today we have a terrific mojo sketch for you and you have the choice of whether to make a circle or square card. Below you will find my sample and the sketch
Giving my Verve stamps some love today. I created my bg paper by stamping one of the images from the Accent Notes set repeatedly across my square and then sponged the edges with ink too. Rather than sewing today, I thought I would pierce around the square for a change.
Inside
I created the border strip by stamping with 2 images from Accent Notes and the sentiment is from Because of you.
Supplies:
stamps- Verve stamps Accent Notes, Because of You
Paper- Paper Temptress blanc sparkle, noir sparkle, mountain rose glimmer
accessories- circle nesties, black pearls, fleur de lis punch- EK Success, PTI satin ribbon sweet blush, paper piercer
Stop on by the mojo Monday blog for details on this week's sketch and some great inspiration.
Hugs and blessings to you all!!

Blingy Tilda
Hi there! Let me just say that I LOVE everything that sparkles, shimmers, and shines! However, I did not originally plan for my card today to have so much bling lol.
I chose to make an easel card again (LOVE them) and it is for my friend Kathy. I was blessed to be able to stamp some of her Tilda images (today's included) and now I am hooked. I even placed my first Magnolia order today also. So, rather than the sentiment saying "you inspire me" it should say you enable me lol. Just kidding...Kathy does inspire me with her awesome work and you should definitely visit her blog. Anyway, dinner Tilda is colored with copics, stickles added to the outfit, rhinestones for the jewelry, and white gel pen for accents. I masked off the swing to create a scene with clouds. To make the clouds I used a piece of acetate as a stencil that I die cut with a scalloped oval and sponged ink over it. I colored some of the bridal flowers with my copics and blinged them up too.
Supplies:
stamps- dinner tilda, verve thoughtful florals and thankful accents, High hopes swing stamp
paper- DCWV citrus pack, pumpkin, neenah white from paper temptress
accessories- rhinestones, copics, oval and circle nesties, sewing machine, bridal flowers
Challenges that I am entering this card in:
Just Magolia- sketch and thank you twist
Magnolia Stamp Lovers- to create a scene
Magnolia Down Under- masking
SCS Ways to use it- patterns
ABC Challenge- S is for sparkle (got this one covered I think lol)
KL Stampin N Scrappin- bling
The Crafty Pad- stitching
Dutch Dare- easel card w/ repeat twist (I repeated flowers)
Thanks for looking and have a fabulous day!

Flowers from Cocoa
Wow, what a gorgeous day here in Buffalo- sunny and 75, sweet! Today I have a Cocoa card to show you- Flowers from Cocoa.
So for my card today, colored with copics, stickles added to flower centers, white gel pen to accent nose, and glimmer mist sprayed over the whole card. The layout was the SCS sketch challenge this week. The colors were chosen because it is SNSS digi day on both Paper Craft Planet and SNR card Universe. If you participate in our challenge (which is a color challenge purple and green), you have a chance to win some of Sweet N Sassy digi stamps- pretty cool! I also participated in the Cute Card Thursday challenge which was touchy feely using textures on your card. So my patterned paper has a texture to it and there are also the flowers, ribbon and stitching. Speaking of stitching this is also a second entry for the stamp something stitch which ends in a couple of hours.
closer look
Supplies:
stamps- SNSS flowers from Cocoa digi, Verve sentiment
CS- PTI plum pudding, SU celery, Neenah white from Paper Temptress, My Minds Eye Penny Lane collection dp
accessories- copics, glimmer mist, pearls, primas, sewing machine, PTI satin ribbon, stickles
Hugs and Blessings,
Janette

My First Magnolia!
Hi there. Now, you have not come to the wrong blog, you hear it correctly- I have given in and used my first Tilda image today. I have been pretty much been resistant to using them until now. So, while I was in PA I was blessed to be able to stamp some images that my friend Kathy had. So without further ado, I bring you my first Tilda card- Princess Tilda....
I was really out of my element for this card because I was going for the shabby chic look. Hopefully I pulled it off. I colored the sweet image with copics and then when over it with a spica pen. I used stickles on her crown. I distressed all the edges with scissors and sewed them. I also further distressed the card base and the image panel with walnut stain distress ink. I used a flower punch for the big flowers and sanded their edges. The smaller flowers on top of them are the Michaels white bridal flowers which I colored pink with my RV10 copic marker. When the card was finished (which took me forever btw) I sprayed the whole thing with Diamonds glimmer mist to give the whole thing shimmer.
close up
can you see the subtle shimmer?
I actually participated in 4 challenges with this card. The first is Cute Card Thursday which was to make a monochromatic card. The second was the Friday sketchers so my layout of this card was their sketch for the week. The third challenge was from the Just Magnolia challenge blog and it was to use punches on your project. The fourth was the Stamp Something challenge was was to stitch/sew on your creation, which is something that I like to do quite frequently on my cards.
Supplies:
stamps- Magnolia Princess Tilda, Verve Circular sayings
CS- memory box dp, white Neenah, kraft
accessories- copics, sewing machine, pearls, flower punch SU, bridal flowers, glimmer mist, grosgrain ribbon, circle nesties
So, what do you think?? Hope you liked my card for today and I am very blessed that you stopped by. Have a wonderful day!

Mojo Monday 134
Hey there, mojo Monday comin at you all full force today. This week the sketch is brought to us by Teresa. Below is the sketch and my sample, hope you like it.
It has been awhile since my Verve stamps have gotten any love. Up until now I have not had much craft time so I needed to make sure that I fulfilled my Sweet N Sassy DT commitments. But, I have got some surprises in store for you over the next couple weeks since I have been stamping away at Korin's house. So I stamped the sentiment and sponged around it while still in the die. I distressed all the edges with scissors and love how the white core of the CS shows through. Have not done distressing for quite some time either so this was a nice change for me too. The patterned paper is from My Minds Eye and I purchased it while on a shopping excursion with Korin here in PA.
Supplies:
stamps- Verve Wishing You
CS- ctmh hollyhock, My Minds Eye Home collection dp
accessories- leaf punch, crocheted flower, pearls, satin ribbon
Don't forget to visit the mojo Monday blog for some eye candy from the mojomakers. Hope you can play along with us this week.

The puppy love image was printed out on Neenah white and colored with copics. I sponged in the bg "scene" and added to crystal effects to the nose. I think that this puppy is just adorable and what a great sketch huh? Hope you can play along this week- check out the awesome layout HERE.

accessories- pearls, circle nesties, MS border punch, stitched ribbon, crystal effects, copics, flowers, buttons

Make Lemonade
I have a quick post to share with you because I wanted to tell you about Sweet N Sassy stamps' new Make Lemonade promotion.
My card uses our new make lemonade set in which the proceeds are being donated to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. This is a foundation that was established to help with childhood cancers. You can get more info HERE.
I colored the pitcher with copics then added some crystal effects over the top so it would look "wet" like lemonade. The great thing about digi images is that you can rotate, resize, and copy images so easily which is how you make the lemon border on my card. It is just a simple copy and paste technique- cool huh?
Supplies-
digi- make lemonade
CS- Papertrey lemon tart and summer sunrise, Neenah white from Paper Temptress
accessories- cb embossing folder, copics, crystal effects, satin ribbon, circle nesties, white gel pen
So glad that you could stop by today. Have a blessed day!!
