Hanna stamps January new releases

Hi there! Today Hanna stamps released 3 new stamps sets and 2 rileys. I thought I would share with you some cards I made using 2 of the new sets. I really like these sets and they are quite versatile.

First up is ahoy there:

I colored the image with copics and then sponged baja breeze for the water and soft sky for the sky using the nesties as a stencil. I used my white gel pen to draw in some waves. I accented the white of hanna with a spica glitter pen and used crystal effects on the shield of the boat- cool huh?

Supplies:
stamps- ahoy there from hanna stamps
CS- soft sky dp, soft sky, red, white
accessories, copics (Eoo, R20, R46, ultramarine, C1), spica glitter pen, labels one nestabilities, crystal effects, white gel pen

Another card using ahoy

To make my bg I started by tearing a piece of paper to use as a mask for the ground and a circle punch to mask off the sky. I then sponged most of the paper with sky, went back over some of it with the darker shade of baja. I then used a post it note to create the horizon line and sponged bayou from the line of the post it toward the bottom edge of the bg. I finsihed the sky by sponging bayou, navy and black to the left side because that would be the dark side since it is blocked by the lighthouse and because the moon would light up the right side. To make the ground I sponged caramel, cocoa, choc chip and black again making the left side the darkest. To tone down the moon I did streak some sky over it and then stamped by birds over it. After the bg was finished, I pieced my lighthouse onto it and stamped the sentiment. I could have stamped the lighthouse first, colored it and embossed with clear then did the bg but I as a bit pressed for time so I chose to eliminate the emboss step and just piece it. This was my first attempt at creating this kind of bg scene so I was rather happy at how it came out. I tried to use a brayer and use the "zindorf" method but after several attempts I just could not get the brayering to work right and so I decided to sponge it instead.

Supplies:
stamps- ahoy there hanna
CS- soft sky, white
ink- sky, baja breeze, blue bayou, not quite navy, black, caramel, cocoa, choc chip
accessories- sponges, bayou ribbon, paper piercer

Last card using Garden Hanna set

I stamped my bg with the sunflower stamp and colored it with copics, same with the main image. I used my piercabilities border to create the scalloped edges. I stamped the sentiment and pierced a row along the bottom. I used my dot cb border to emboss the middle strips.

Supplies:
stamps- garden hanna
CS- white, choc chip
accessories- copics, grosgrain ribbon, cb border folder, piercabilities border, rectangle nesties, paper piercer
