The high hopes challenge this week is No Corners and is brought to us by Niki Estes. I don't often do shape type cards so it was kinda fun to do something different. That is two days in a row with going out of the comfort zone LOL.
I used my scalloped square nestabilities to cut out the base for my card from Paper Temptress noir sparkle paper. You have to move the die slightly off the paper at the top where your fold is so that you don't just cut 2 squares. I then used my labels one die to cut out my colored Maribelle cow image. I also sponged around my image while in the die. I accented the scallops with a white gel pen to brighten up the card a little.
Supplies:
stamps- high hopes Maribelle
CS- Paper Temptress noir sparkle and Neenah white
accessories- striped grosgrain, white gel pen, scallop square nesties, labels one nesties, copics
We would love to have you play along with our challenge this week. You can see the prize up for grabs and see the divas' terrific samples for you on the high hopes blog today. Happy stamping!

Hi Janette,
Great card--I love how you coloured this sweet cow! Thanks too for the tip on how to make a folded card using the nesties--wasn't sure how that was done and now I know!
Blessings,
Sarah

This card is EXCELLENT Janette. Black is so hard to watercolour with but you did so well. I will have to study it and work out how you did it!!
