Sweet Stop Saturday sketch 19
Another Sweet Stop sketch coming your way! I really liked this sketch- fairly simple to do and quite universal too. Below is my sample and the sketch.
I stamped the cross image from the Elegant Blessings stamp set from Sweet N Sassy stamps with gray ink. I then colored in small parts of it with an olive copic marker and sponged the edges with baja breeze ink. I then added rhinestones to accent it. In the top 2 corners I used the sraps from the fleur de lis punch.
Supplies:
stamps- Sweet N Sassy stamps Elegant Blessings
CS- Paper Temptress Cryogen white, basis gray, gumdrop green, SU dp
accessories- copic marker, rhinestones, taffeta ribbon, EK Success Fleur de Lis punch
Have a fabulous weekend and thanks for visiting today. Don't forget to stop by the sweet stop blog and check out the sketch and some more great samples from the DT.

Sweet N Sassy stamps blog hop day 1
This month Sweet N Sassy stamps is featuring the scripture stamp sets this month for the blog hop. I chose to use the Jesus cares set for my card today. This card is the card that I taught at the make n take down in Ephrata, PA at L&L stamps back in July. I only wish I would have taken a picture of it then because I had to remake it for the post today.
Supplies:
stamps- Sweet N Sassy stamps Jesus Cares
CS- pomegranite, pretty in pink, berry bliss dp, white
accessories- pink pearls, pink satin ribbon, labels 4 nesties, SU eyelet punch
If you started on the Sweet N Sassy stamps blog then your next stop today is Connie . If this was the first stop then be sure to go back to the SNSS blog so you don't miss any of the terrific eye candy that the DT has to show you.

Mojo Monday Week 99...on Tuesday
Hi everyone! Things are just super crazy busy so unfortunately I could not get my mojo card done in time. We had our triple birthday party on Saturday and now we have our very dear friends staying with us from Missouri so stamping has to take a backseat for a bit. Hopefully you will bear with me as I try to get done what I can.
Anyway, this week's mojo sketch and my sample are below:
I found the sketch to be a good one but challenging at the same time. I used the love of a friend set from Sweet N Sassy stamps for my scripture for today. I really love this verse and it was a good reminder for me today as I have a friend right now that I am quite upset with. I still have to love them in spite of the junk going on.
Supplies:
stamps- Sweet N Sassy stamps Love of a Friend
CS- not quite navy, kiwi kiss, blanc sparkle from Paper Temptress, SU dp
accessories- grosgrain ribbon, navy brads, white brad, sewing machine
Stop by the mojo Monday blog to see the awesome samples from the mojo makers.
Have a fabulous day!!

Mojo Monday 98- contest week!
Happy mojo Monday everyone! I am glad you stopped in today because this week is our monthly contest week on mojo Monday. Julee will be giving away up to 7 Verve sets to the entries that are judged to be the most mojolicious. My sample and this week's sketch are below.
I have to admit that I seriously struggle in the masculine card department. So, I rarely make them as I am always tempted to use some sort of ribbon or sparkle on my cards and that really does not do the trick for a guy LOL. I have a very good friend though who is going through a difficult time right now and I really wanted to send a card to encourage him. My favorite bible verse is Jer29:11 and it has always encouraged me and I was hoping it would them too. I was thrilled when Verve released this set! Most of the time when I make a card I don't have a specific person or occasion in mind that I am creating it for but today's card was created for someone specific and I hope that they will like it. My friend and fellow DT member Sandy said that whenever she makes a card that she prays for the person she is creating it for and she inspired me to do the same.
I stamped the cross first with blue ink followed by the verse with chocolate ink over the top. I sponged around the scripture while still in the circle die. All the edges were distressed with scissors and basic grey dp works so well with this technique.
Supplies:
stamps- Verve Jer29:11
CS- basic grey granola dp, Paper Temptress hot fudge
accessories- brown brads, twill, circle nestabilities
Be sure to stop by the mojo Monday blog to get all the info on this week's contest. My fellow mojo makers also have some great samples to share with you to get you started.
Hugs and blessings,

High Hopes Challenge 42
Good Sunday morning! This week's high hopes challenge was "go for the gold" and is brought to us by diva Jeanne. I have created a sparkly gold card for you today.
I stamped my herald angel which is one of the newly released images from high hopes onto blanc sparkle paper and colored her with copics. I have not pulled out my shimmerz in awhile so I used angel wings on the wings and gold glimmer blingz on the stars of her headpiece and her collar. I used gold stickles on the trumpet. She was cut out and popped up on top of white gold metallic cardstock and then again onto a scalloped circle from gold sparkle cardstock. The base of the card is made from white diamonds cardstock. I used the Friday sketchers sketch from this week for my layout. I used rhinestones on the angel wings and in the center of the scallops. All the gorgeous shimmery cardstock that I used today can be found at Paper Temptress.
Here is a closer look for you
Supplies:
stamps- high hopes herald angel
Cardstock- blanc sparkle, white diamonds, white gold metallic, gold sparkle- all from Paper Temptress
accessories- rhinestones, cb divine swirls folder, angel wings shimmerz, gold glimmer blingz, gold stickles, organdy ribbon, copics
All the challenge details and prize info can be found on the high hopes blog. The divas also have some terrific samples to show you to get you started.
Have a blessed Lord's day Sunday!

Sweet stop Saturday sketch 15
This week Korin has a fairly simple and universal sketch for us. I really enjoyed it! My sketch and sample are below:
I decided to flip the sketch. I first stamped my flower image from doodle flowers with green ink onto white sparkle CS (I stamped off once). Then I stamped my verse from the Encouragement set with pumpkin ink over the top of it. I really love to do that, I like the effect of stamping over an image. I then sponged around the verse while still in the die.
Supplies:
stamps- Sweet N Sassy stamps Encouragment set, doodle flowers
CS- Paper Temptress Fairway metallic, blanc sparkle, tangy orange poptones
accessories- pearls, taffeta ribbon, corner rounder punch, oval nesties, rectangle nesties, paper piercer, sewing machine
I hope you will take a minute to visit the sweet stop blog and check out the great samples that the rest of the DT has to show you.
Have a great day and I hope it is filled with many blessings!
