Featured Stamper 69- Maren

Well, the weekend is almost over now. I am pretty tired and getting ready to go to sleep soon but I thought I would post so that I could give you guys another day to have a chance to win the blog candy. Don't forget you can sign up once a day between 5/30 and 6/5 by posting a comment on any of my posts during that time frame. If you have not already done so, please be sure to include your favorite stamp company in your post.

I needed to make a graduation card for a friend of ours so I decided to use the featured stamper challenge to accomplish that. Today's FS is Maren AKA mmbc on SCS. She has a terrific gallery and it was a pleasure to CASE it. Here is the card of Maren's that I chose to CASE. I changed the colors, the image, brads to eyelets, the border punch and the ribbon. Her school's colors are green and gold so that is why I chose them for my card. I ran my gold layer through my cuttlebug and double matted it. I used my Fiskars border punch on the green strip and tied my ribbon around it then added the oval which I stamped the cap first in gold and then the congrats in green over it. The bella was colored with prismacolor pencils and gamsol and stickles (which is not showing up in the pic) was added to the tassel and the flowers. Hope she will like it.
