Artful Inkables

Well today I am having a serious case of self doubting. I know that this probably sounds crazy after announcing my good news yesterday. The reason that I am so freaky today is that I applied for a design team position with Artful Inkables and I understand that there are alot of applicants. I guess I was hoping that there would not be so much competition because now I am wondering if I made a mistake by applying for the fear of rejection LOL. I am also wondering if by actually telling you all that I applied if I am setting myself up even more. I decided that I needed to vent though and you all have been so wonderful and supportive of me that I figured who better to share this with. I am going to post my cards that I submitted for you all to see. Part of me wonders if I should have submitted some more complicated cards. My theory behind it was to submit a variety of techniques and degree of difficulty so as to appeal to a wide audience of stampers. LMK what ya think.

Artful Inkables are wonderful rubber stamps that are mounted on foam cushion. They come with the cling already on and they are cut for you too. I found them to be very reasonably priced and I got perfectly stamped images every time. My review of these stamps is that they are awesome!! The style is right up my alley and the quality is fantastic so I highly recommend them to you- even if I don't get picked LOL. You can visit their web store here.

The first card I submitted was the wedding mojo one from Saturday's post (the black and white one). I really liked this card but it did not win the mojo Monday contest so now I am wondering if it was really as good as I thought- make sense?

Here are the rest for you to see:

The next two use the friendship flowers set.
The first card is a simple but elegant card that I watercolored with my aquapainter and ink pad.

The second card uses my copics and prismacolor markers

The next 2 cards I colored with my prismacolor pencils and gamsol. This card uses the adorable daring ducky set. The sign in the stamp reads "no swimming" but I masked that off and stamped "hello" instead.

Last card uses the adorable pond friends set

So there they are. I guess the question is do I email them and withdraw my application or not LOL???

Thanks for reading all my babble today....

Wonderful cards! I especially like the last card with the fish; the coloring is so nicely done. If you want to be on a design team, absolutely go for it. I love checking your blog to see your cards. I wish you luck! And don't be fearful of rejection; just realize that there is another opportunity out there for you if this one isn't it. Keep creating these great cards, and don't give up!
