Hanna Sneak Peek Day 1

Oh my I am so excited about my first official sneak peek week as a hanna stamps design team member. So this is my very first release post- how cool is that? The fun will begin in the hanna stamps forum at 9PM on Thursday July 3rd for the release party. There is always great chatting, prizes and guess what a challenge being hosted by me! There are 4 new sets being released from hanna stamps on Friday July 4th. So I have not one but TWO sneak peeks for you today. Both of these cards use the new bridal Hanna set.

I started out with my white card base which measures 5.25" square. I layered on my bazzill bling and dp. I added a strip across the middle which was then tied with silver organdy ribbon. My bride image was stamped with smokey grey versafine ink on PTI white. I colored in only the flower bouquet with my copics to add just a subtle hint of color and added stickles to the dress and veil. This image was then double matted. I finished off my card by adding 3 bridal flowers from Michaels (how appropriate huh?) in the upper corner which were accented with clear rhinestones.

Supplies-
stamps- bridal hanna
ink- versafine smokey grey
CS- PTI white, bazzill bling, dp from Michaels
accessories- SU silver organdy ribbon, bridal flowers, clear rhinestones, stardust stickles, copics (G21, RV11, RV13)

For my second card I was looking for something simple and elegant. I started out by stamping my image with white craft ink on vellum CS. I did originally try to emboss it but even with using the CS weight vellum it still curled up pretty badly- oh well. So anyway, once my image was dry ( I let it dry overnight since I was not in a hurry) I turned it over and created an embossed frame around it using a scor-pal. I then attached it to black CS using brads in the corner. I was too afraid to use adhesive because I did not want it to show through. I added tiny clear rhinestones to the bouquet for a little sparkle. This was then glued to my card base and my most favorite awesome double sided ribbon was tied around the side.

Supplies:
stamps- bridal hanna
ink- SU white craft
CS- PTI white, SU black, SU vellum CS
accessories- clear rhinestones, scor-pal, black brads, double sided satin ribbon from Michaels

Well I hope you enjoyed the first sneak peek and I will have more with a different set tomorrow. Be sure to check out the other DT members creations in the hanna forum on SCS or by visiting their blogs which I have listed to the right here on my blog. Let me know what you think of the new stamps and I hope you have a wonderful day. Thanks so much for visiting.

Oh I totally love this stamp! As a teen stamper I'm so happy that this blushing bride has a little "baby-bump". I know Kristi understands the needs of our younger generation :) I'm so excited that you are a new designer for Hanna! I'll be watching!
