Sketch Challenge 180 and some awesome news!

Hi everyone. I am so excited that I have been given permission to tell you all some wonderful news for me. I have been asked to join the Hanna Stamps Design Team!!!! If you have been following my blog at all you know that I absolutely love Hanna Stamps and they are some of my favorite stamps. I am so happy to be part of an awesome team of designers. My first projects as a DT member can be seen in the hanna stamps forum on SCS starting June 30th. The release party will be taking place on July 3rd so be sure to join us. However, you don't have to wait that long for some fun because you won't want to miss the PJ party taking place on June 20th where there are some amazing surprises planned. Trust me on this one! I just received my first package with new release stamps and I look forward to being able to play with them.

So, for today's project I followed the sketch challenge on SCS. You can find it here and if you play along be sure to comment on the post so I can check out your creation. I received this image from the pif forum. I colored my image with prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I matted it and used my ticket corner punch on it. I matted all my layers with black and placed them on my card according to the sketch for this week. I added black double stitched ribbon at the top and some primas on the diamond layer. I also stamped my sentiment in the lower corner and added black brads to the corners.

Supplies:
stamps- whipper snapper girl turtle with flower, hero arts sentiment
CS/paper- SU so saffron, black, looks like spring dp
accessories/tools- prismacolor pencils and gamsol, dbl stitch ribbon from Joann's, black brads, prima flowers, SU artichoke brads, SU ticker corner punch

Hope you have a nice evening and be sure to stop back tomorrow because I have quite a few projects to share with you that I could not post until I submitted them.
